As I always do, today I was browsing the Google news feed about electronic cigarettes and stumbled across an article from philstar.com about the use of nicotine e-cigarettes versus zero nicotine e-cigs.
The point of the article is pretty straight forward, and not very newsworthy, but worth sharing anyway. The article states that smokers that are attempting to cease use of traditional cigarettes have an over 50% greater likelihood of success if they use nicotine e-cig cartridges/eliquid as opposed to e-cigs without any nicotine.
Like I said, it’s pretty simple. They still need their nicotine fix – that’s not going away overnight. So the body craves that nicotine. It’s why there’s products like the nicotine patch or nicotine gum. What do you think has a better chance of curbing smoking — chewing a nicotine gum, or chewing regular gum?
Anyway, just wanted to share what I found in the news today. Hope you enjoy the blog!
