Mt Baker Vapor is like a fully stocked bar of all the e-liquids you could ever ask for. Take a look at their website and browse through the amazing selections they have. They have tons of traditional flavors, assorted flavors, and even better they have a huge selection of e-juice blends that there is really nothing you can’t find there.
So after I saw all that they offered at Mt Baker, I had to give it a try myself. While I wouldn’t say that this brand is particularly poor, I also have to say that it isn’t my top recommendation for e-cigs. But that’s not to say that there isn’t something to say about Mt Baker. My full review follows below.
Probably the largest selection I’ve seen anywhere in the e-cig industry. Head over to the “Nicotine Juice” page on the Mt Baker Vapor website and you’ll see all the categories they have – Tobacco flavors, Candy flavors, Fruit, Beverage, Menthol and Mint, Sweet, Specialty…the list goes on. You can also sort/filter the different flavors to help find the perfect e-juices for you. Lots to choose from, and there’s not enough space on this page to list all of them.
Like with every brand, I sampled some of their tobacco flavors to see what they were working with there and was not disappointed. I also always like to try out flavors that are unique to the brand, that I don’t see offered elsewhere, so I picked up a vial of their Cookie Blaster e-liquid and it was pretty tasty, as well as their clove which is often overlooked and not offered at many e-cigarette brands. Everything I tried tasted really good and gave a great throat hit.
Oh – they even have a category called Mt Baker GWAR Flavors, with e-liquid themed after the popular band. Some pretty interesting flavors in that set.
The pricing is another great advantage at Mt Baker, as you can get some flavors for as low as $4.99 for a 15 mL bottle, while others are in the $5.99 – $10.99 range, with bulk discounts offered when buying more than one. You can get them in 0mg to 24mg and increments in between, as well as customize the ratio of Propylene Glycol and Vegetable Glycerin in your blend – that is definitely I have never seen elsewhere, and it’s nice to have that kind of control of what you are purchasing.
They have a full range of kits available depending on your budget, as low as $19.99 for their simple starter kits up to $169.99 for the most comprehensive bundles. I went for the middle ground and picked up one of their more popular kits, starting with the Innokin LEO iClear 16 Deluxe Starter Kit for $65.99. With this kit you get two eGo style batteries and 16 refillable blank tanks for your e-liquids. That’s a lot of hardware for the price it’s offered at and is certainly a bargain.
This is a great ecigarette kit for beginners because it is so easy to use, but at the same time it has the performance that would satisfy any veteran e-smoker. Truly a great vaporizer, though the technology is not as advanced as some of the more comprehensive stuff at my top recommended vaporizers at Vapor Fi (which you can find a link to in the right sidebar on this page).
The battery has overcharge protection so you don’t have to worry about leaving it on the charger overnight and short-circuiting or anything, and it has a 10-second cutoff when vaping on it (unless you take monstrous drags, that is never an issue). My only complaint with this is that you only get one e-liquid with it, but with the prices that the e-juice is offered at it’s no problem to add some more to your shopping cart, and as mentioned previously it’s a great deal for the price with all the hardware that comes in this bundle.
Out of curiosity I also bought the grand-daddy of all their kits, the Innokin iTaste 134 Starter Kit for $169.99 because it just looked too good to pass up. This thing is an absolute beast! Look at the photo below of this battery:
This is the closest thing that Mt Baker offers comparable to the higher end stuff at Vapor Zone. Lots of power behind this thing. It’s like a police flashlight – not as portable as some of the lighter offerings in their kits, but when you’re just sitting around this is a great piece of vaping equipment to have as it really packs some power.
With this battery you can control the wattage so you can really customize your vaping. Pretty cool technology if you really know what you’re doing. Real solid, durable construction – you never have to worry about breaking this thing, that’s for sure.
With this kit you get the above mentioned battery, one dual coil clearomizer, one beauty ring, a free bottle of eliquid of your choice, and one blunt needle tip for easier dispensing of e-juice,
If you’ve got the budget, this is a heck of a vaporizer.
For an intro to the starter kits at Mt Baker, take a look at the video below:
There’s lots of add-ons available here, from extra cartomizers and refillable tanks, extra (and upgraded) batteries, carrying cases, coils, charging cables and adapters…pretty much anything you can think of. This place is like a warehouse for all things e-cig related. If you want it, they have it.
Last Thoughts on Mt Baker Vapor
This is a solid brand and definitely worth a look. They have a wide range of kits for everyone’s wallet, and probably the largest selection of e-liquid anywhere. It’s definitely worth a look, but it didn’t exactly wow me (I’ve tried so many brands, it takes a lot to impress me now). I can’t put my finger on it where I feel Mt Baker falls short, I still feel loyal to my top recommendations VaporFi (best all around vaporizer seller on the market) and V2 Cigs (best all around brand, hands-down) which are both linked to in the sidebar higher up on this page. Or, for a lesser known brand, take a look at Panda E Cigs.
